Lisa Weiß to sign at Aston Villa
2-year-contract for former national goalkeeper.
After two successful years, Lisa Weiß, born in Düsseldorf, leaves the French serial champion, Olympique Lyon, and move to the UK to play for Aston Villa. With the titles of Chmapions League winner, French champion and national cup winner, the 32-year-old is now playing to establish the newcomer of the English WSL in this international top league.
Commenting on her signature, Lisa said: ´I decided early to leave Olympique Lyon to finally prove my worth for a team on the pitch again. The people at AVFC made it very easy for me to choose this club. I´m really looking forward to my new responsibilities.´
