The national coach, Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, today presented her squad for the upcoming World Cup in France. Our players Almuth Schult, Klara Bühl and Turid Knaak were nominated for the team.
Almuth is going into the tournament as Germany´s no. 1 goalkeeper after winning the double of the championship and the DFB Cup with VFL Wolfsburg last season.
Klara drew attention this season with her cheeky and carefree way of playing football and at 18 years of age she is one of the chicks of the World Cup participants. Turid achieved a great 4th place in the Bundesliga with SGS Essen and matured to a top performer in the Ruhr area.
