Mina Tanaka to strike for Bayer 04
Contract until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Japanese international joins the Werksclub on loan from INAC Kobe and complements the team of coach Achim Feifel until the end of the season. In Japan, Mina was top scorer from 2016 to 2019 and was voted twice as MVP – player of the season.
Mina about her contract: ´This is my first ever experience playing for a foreign club. I am a little nervous but am also thrilled about it. I really want to thank Bayer 04 Leverkusen for giving me such an opportunity and I am looking forward to show all I can. I am so looking forward to competing in the Bundesliga and I believe that I have the mental and physical ability for it. I have already been feeling that we can be very successful with great teammates, the coach and our supporters. ´
