Merle Barth joins Turbine Potsdam
Two-year contract for 26-year-old in Potsdam.
The captain of Bayer 04 Leverkusen is the third new signing for the Turbines for the coming season. After a total of eleven years with the Werkself, Merle Barth will move to the Havel at the end of this season. The midfielder has played for all DFB national teams from the U17 to U20 and has been in the starting line-up 14 times in the current season so far.
Commenting on her signature, Merle said: ´I´m really looking forward to the new tasks and challenges that await me as part of Turbine. For me, Potsdam offers a great overall package to develop personally and athletically. I´m looking forward to working together and would like to take this opportunity to thank Bayer Leverkusen in particular for the past years.´
