Turid Knaak to win Supercup with Atlético
First title for the former Essen player.
Turid Knaak has scored a coup with Atlético Madrid and won the second edition of the Spanish Supercup 2020/2021. The Madrilenians won the final against Levante, which was played in Almería. Turid was substituted in the second half.
Earlier, Atlético had won the semi-final against FC Barcelona on penalties after a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.
The tournament was made up of the finalists of the 2019/2020 Copa de la Reina and the top two finishers of the national league. Thus, EdF Logroño was qualified, too.
