Wende and Walter to join FC Carl Zeiss Jena
Contracts until 2023.
The 17-year-old Johanna comes from the U18 team of VfL Westercelle and is also a U19 national player for the DFB.
Johanna: „I choose Jena because I have great opportunities to develop personally and football-wise here. I’m looking forward to a great season in the Bundesliga.“
Sophie Walter comes from Bundesliga club Werder Bremen and has already gained some first-league experience there.
Sophie: „I immediately found myself in the talks with Jena and this feeling lasted until the final talks with the people in charge. I can identify very well with the philosophy, the concept and the goals of the club and am therefore very happy to be a part of it from next season on.“
